Titanium Hose Clamp for Chlorine Water Vapor

Q: I’m looking for a clamp for a drinking water tank vent screen. We work with many tanks but this tank apparently has a higher chlorine residual so the 304SS worm drive clamps don’t last long. The clamp that we fabricated was a little too stiff so there were gaps and it was difficult to make “bug proof”. I think I’m looking for a giant hose clamp made from hastelloy or something with similar resistance to chlorine water vapor.

A: I would suggest our medium-duty hose clamp in titanium grade 2. A titanium hose clamp should be able to handle it. Let us know the exact dimensions of the hose clamp and we can give you a quote. We will need the exact outer diameter as these hose clamps do not have very much adjustability.
